This five-day course provides law enforcement agencies with trained firearms instructors who will be qualified to instruct and qualify their department personnel in the safe use and handling of firearms. Instruction will include use of force, nomenclature and operation of firearms, care and cleaning of weapons, target evaluation and analysis, diagnosing shooter error, proficiency drills, adult learning, firearm safety, basic principles of marksmanship, low light firing, lesson plan development and much more.
